Hi, I notice I can change the opacity of the lightbox to a nice level for me,
but I can’t figure out how to do it with the onion skin.
Is there a way to change the opacity of onion skinning? I only use one level and it’s quite strong and distracting for my needs.

The Onion Skin color can be edited on the Global UI tab of the preferences.
Did I read OPACITY on that question? Please answer the question, dude.
I couldn’t find a setting to explicitly lower the opacity of onion skins, but you can just change the color of the onion skin under Preferences->Colours (Onion Skin Colour Before/After) to something closer to your background color
