Odd screen effect when using line/shape tool

Hi.
I’m getting a strange cursor trail when using any of the line tools (line, rectangle, ellipse, polyline). If I switch between drawing and camera window, the problem gets worse - the whole window flickers.
Once I press the mouse button and create a shape, the problem stops.
Once I release the mouse button and move the cursor, the problem resumes.
Switching tools also stops the problem - until selecting the line tool again, the same thing.

Anybody have any idea what might be causing this?

I’m on Windows 7, using an Intuos tablet and logitech mouse.

Hi,

I’m having the same issue as the OP.

Is there no fix for this beside turning snapping off or ignoring it if you happen to need to use snapping?

Do you have Snapping turned on? Windows has been known to have a glitch with the graphics that causes the little blue snapping indicator to drag a trail on the screen.
