So I have imported my animation from work and I’ve completed line drawings for10 frames and hit save. Suddently there is a dialog: “Initializing save process.” (Or similar) What is this. It was a panicky moment because in past this has suggested that the app is about to close on me. Is this normal? It’s freaky.

There is usually a dialog box that comes up every time you save. If it’s taking a long time, then maybe your drawings are complex, and you should save more frequently. But yes, this is normal.
