I am trying to do a simple walk cycle across my screen. When I place my character on the stage everything is correct in relation to the other parts, but when I move the character to the side of the stage some parts are about a quarter of an inch off in relation to the character. Is there an easy fix for this?
With the Transform Tool selected click on every part in question in the viewport…
In the Coordinates and Control Points Panel check the Z-position of those parts…
Reduce the distance accordingly (should be in the 0.001 / 2 / 3 etc. range)
Sometimes this can happen when you do a range select when you have a hierarchy. If you have a master peg layer, simply move the master peg, don’t range select all your layers. If you range select, then you’ll move each piece based off its own pivot point.
