Navigating the directory; location of file

I’m not sure I understand why it is so difficult to locate a Storyboard file, to access it without using the built-in introductory-page navigator (which provides no directory but simply a file name… which might or might not get you what you’re looking for), or to save to another location. For instance, why can I not save to a flash drive (providing the original file wasn’t created on a flash drive)? Why can I not locate the file in Windows Explorer, double-click, and then tell the computer to use the Storyboard program file. Believe me, I’ve tried. The Storyboard.exe file is well hidden.I understand the saved file is intensely formatted and involves a lot of sub-directories and is by its nature confusing. But I’m not sure I understand the need for all this secrecy/non-transparency.

You should be able to do both of those things. Are you working on Windows or Mac?
