I tried to use the color transformation element along with the blur element following the instructions in the guide. In TB the color change worked fine but when I rendered it only the blur effect showed up not the color change. I read back through the steps repeatedly but can’t see why it won’t work. In my example I used a simple circle that I wanted to change color and blur over time if that helps. I am using TBS by the way
Has the element with blur group been dropped onto the colour transform effect? It needs to be indented in the timeline relative to the colour transform effect so that when you turn the triangle face-down it hides the element and blur in the timeline.
