I’m struggling trying to figure out if there’s a way to precisely move control points when using the contour edit tool.
Is it possible to hold down a key to move them along the x or y axis, or do something similar?
When drawing objects that are square or rectangle shapes (eg furniture etc) having this feature would be extremely useful…
Is it there?
Using the contour editor tool holding shift or alt will move the control point tangentially or at right angles to the vector shape.
Note though that the polyline tool used along with the grid are an excellent way to draw mechanical objects. Holding the shift button with the line tool selected will constrain the line to 15 degree increments.
