When tpl file is prepared for 1 scene, some elements will go missing when we drag the tpl into a new file. Sometimes it has layering problem, but when i try nudging back & forth, it just cant get to the correct layer tat i want, cos it oso nudges another char parts which i did not select.

Are you using Animate or Animate Pro? Also, what exactly is included in the template you have created? Is it a rig? A set of independent layer? A single drawing? Also did you create the template from a timeline selection (in the right or left part of the timeline, in which case you should specify which part), an xsheet selection or a network selection?
