Which is the maximum resolution in pixels allowed to import?

As far as I know, the maximum resolution one can create a project is 2048 x 2048 pixels.
Importing images in any larger size should’t be a problem… don’t know about any limit…?
Be aware, that high resolution images within a long project can cause software instabilities
and during render might even be able to crash your system… (lots of RAM required)…
Save often is highly recommended.

Toon Boom Studios crashed constantly on my computer but once I went through several experiments to see what the problem was, I found that I had to keep my screen at 1280 x 1024. That did the trick, she doesn’t crash at all now, (thank goodness). Though I think this is a bug that needs to be worked out since not everyone may have high res monitors.
