mask coloring

I’m sing Toon Boom H15 Premium and my layer has a line art Vector, and color art Bitmap.

I’m coloring in the color art layer, and I’m wonder if there is a tool like in Photoshop where I can lock the transparent pixel, like a mask. So once I press that tool I can brush my area without caring about erasing the extra space.

There is, but in the Brush Tool, I don’t know if it works in a bitmap based layer.

Just enable the “Repaint Brush” option in the Brush tool.

As a personal recommendation, I’d advise you against using bitmap layers, I think it’s way better to use the brush tool in vector layers.
