Maintain Position When Connecting Pegs Option

One amazing feature that is fairly typical in 3D animation software which I feel would be great in Toonboom, is the idea of having the option to maintain a peg’s position when attaching it to another peg. I don’t know how many times I’ve had to attach a preset, or something I’ve just created onto another peg only to watch it fly off into space, thus forcing me to do all that tedious positioning work again.

In the layer properties of the peg you can create functions and then
share them to have the same movement applied to other pegs.

The benefit is that if you at some point modify the original peg’s
functions, they will automatically be applied to other pegs accessing
these shared functions.
