link vector and bitmap layer

From what I see this is not possible but I give it a try.
If you draw a character on a vector layer and do some painting on him at another layer and then want to move/transform that is there a way to link the bitmap to the vector when moving?

I’m pretty sure you can just shift select both layers and move as you will.
