Line appears only after completion?

I recently downloaded the PLE version of Toon Boom Animate Pro and everything seems to work perfectly but for some reason when I draw a line of just about any variety it won’t actually show any part of said line until I release the cursor. I’m assuming this isn’t normal as in any of the tutorials I have watched today the line has appeared whilst it was still being drawn.
If anyone could explain how to get the brush/pencil etc. to show the line as it is being drawn then I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

I am having the exact issue in the trial version…Hopefully someone can help us out. ???

This is usually a driver-related issue. Have you updated your graphics drivers to the latest? What graphics card are you using? What operating system are you running?

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD (integrated) it’s the newest commercial intel graphics card…yet we know that doesn’t mean much. I do not believe I can replace the graphics in my laptop.

Unfortunately your graphics card doesn’t meet the product requirements for Animate. Copying the information from the website:

NVIDIA® or ATI® Video card fully supporting
OpenGL with 128 MB of RAM

Intel integrated video cards have been known to have problems running Animate. You might try updating your drivers, but other than that there’s not a whole lot you can do.
