Limit on gif length?

I was working on an animation that came out to about 1000 frames and it refused to render as a gif. It would as a .mov, and I could export as that and convert it in premiere, but it seemed to stop exporting as a gif after it exceeded 800 frames or so.

Is there a glitch with the gif export or is there just a limit set? I’m not seeing anything about it in the documentation, but it’s doing this on both my laptop and desktop installation.

Which OS you are using?
Could you contact support@toonboom.com with the scene?
By checking it, it does export more than 1000 frame without any error so it could be something else.

Without getting all of the details on your project, as long as you are able to export a video try using Instagiffer (downloaded from instagiffer dot com) to create the animated GIF.
