Lighting on 3D Models

For my Senior Film at my campus, I’m starting to use Toon Boom Harmony for compositing my 2D Flash Puppets with a 3D Background modeled in Maya.

I’ve already modeled my backgrounds, but before I start to go crazy with the textures, I wanted to ask do I have about importing.

Do I have to render out my models with the lighting effects included beforehand, or does Toon Boom already have some lighting effect modules available for that?

Hi Valter Valyun

You are lucky to have access to Maya. There is possible to render the scene with help of Maya. Myself I do not have this possibility, so I have no direct experience with the process…
But you can study the operation in the video tutorials below.

Best regards
Ivar

Nice information, many thanks to the author. It is incomprehensible to me now, but in general, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming. Thanks again and good luck
