Kinematic output making bones dissapear

I’m trying to learn Harmony Advanced and I ran into a little snag. I’m trying to make a simple rig. When just using bones they deform the art assets but I just want them to move and not deform.

I can get half of the arm to move and not deform by using a Kinematic Output layer but when I try to do the same with the lower part of the arm the bones vanish. I still see the layer of the bone and I can see and move the upper bones of the chain but the lower ones are gone and I’m unable to move them.

Just wondering if anyone can help me out?
