Isometric Character Animation

Hello everyone,

I am new to Toon Boom Animate, and new to animation in general. I have a question about character animations from an isometric perspective (for a game).

I’m going through all of the video tutorials for Animate, and I believe that I’ll be doing my animations without the pegs and rigging (at least in the 45 degree angled and North and South positions). I’m not sure what you call that style of animation so I apologize in advance.

Would someone please confirm this for me? I don’t see a way of utilizing those features since this after all a 2D animation program, but I figured I would ask just in case.
