Importing Images

Hi folks, i’m new to toon boom studio and as a noob theres a couple of things i’d like to know.

  1. When i I import an image to trace/ink for animation it appears pixellated and poor quality.

  2. i can’t move/manipulate that image at all.

  3. When i set a layer above for the linework, the layer with the image on it disappears.

I’m sure there are very simple answers to these queries but i havent had any luck finding tutorials/tips that cover them at all.

  1. Go to Preferences / Display / Increase Textures & Image Resolution.
  2. One can’t manipulate an image in Drawing-View, switch to Camera-View.
  3. In Drawing-View turn the Auto Light Table on, or switch to Camera-View.
