I was checking out Flip Boom because I want to mess around with very basic cell animation. I’m an illustrator and I typically draw with brush and ink, scan the drawing into my mac and manipulate and color them on photoshop. I want to animate my own drawings, am I barking up the right tree?
Flip Boom classes are for up to K-12. It was designed for Kids learning or expressing using drawings.
If you are looking for more cell animation as hobby or professional, you better look for Toon Boom Studio, Animate, Animate Pro or Harmony. Up to Animate pro, you can try before purchasing it. Read the limitation for each trial or PLE for more details.
