Imported audio is silent

I’ve been trying out toon boom advanced for a few hours now and cannot figure out why audio is not playing in the animation.

The mp3 clip is inserted into the timeline but is not playing at all. I’m very confused.

I presume you checked the “Sound” Button (next to the “Play Forward” Button) ?
Otherwise, use a WAV or AIF file and try again.

Yes I used the sound button and have tried using WAV, AIF and MP3’s but still nothing.

installing Quick time player should solve your problem !

Also, why does toon boom need quicktime player installed?
