How to use the camera on TBS 4

Hi Folks

Just wondering if anybody can help me here. I’ve been trying to work out how to use the camera function on Toon Boom Studio 4. I found a tutorial on YouTube and can follow it so far, but he’s using a different version to me, so I end up getting lost.

What I’m trying to do is get a pan out from the black of my characters eye to a full shot of him. I’ve managed to add a camera and zoom in on the eye on the camera view however I get stuck after that. Does anyone have an idiots guide/step by step explation of the process please?

Thanks very much

Jon

Here is an article that might help you, or at least allow you to ask some more specific questions about using the camera. It explains using a peg element along with the camera element. Setting keyframes to lock down camera positions. Using the side view and top view panels for directing camera moves and more. Give it a look and ask additional questions and we will try to walk you thru this. MULTIPLE SHOTS IN A SINGLE SCENE -JK

Hi There,

Thank you very much for your help. I’ve been away from my computer for the past week so I’m behind with a lot of stuff. I didn’t want you to think I was ignoring you though. I’ve been tinkering around with the camera function again tonight, I’ve made a little progress but I need to read through your link a few more times.

I’ll be in touch soon.

Thanks again
