How to Turn a Corner using a Camera?

I’m working on a piece where a figure is coming into a complex of bldgs and park like environment and I want her to turn a corner, actually want to have the camera turn as she is going around a corner to the left. I’ve tried to transform tool and made the bldgs turn slightly and that was great, but I wonder where I might find more info about this.

I forgot to put that I would like to be notified of any replies.

I assume you are using pro and have built a 3D building??

Attach the camera to a peg. Enable 3D on the peg and then you can rotate the camera. (i prefer using the other views to rotate and then leaving the camera in another panel to see what is happening).

No, I’m using Animate 2.0, not the Pro version. Is there a way to turn a corner with that?

In that case you will need to “fake” the 3D by drawing the backing rotating.

The other option is you could play with the perspective tool.

I have have a tutorial planned in the coming week about using rotoscoping for this type of thing.

Thanks, but I don’t understand this:

What is the "backing rotating?

Like I would literally draw the corner wall rotating.

You aren’t going to be able to do it with camera tricks because your drawing is flat.

Okay. I understand now.
