Hi i’m new here and I made a forum account solely to know how to open and animate a image I drew on paper, scanned and is on my laptop. I have been trying for months. Can somebody please help me?
It depends on how the drawing was scanned…
If it’s black & wite lineart and you have scanned and vectorized it, this will be a vector image and you can use the Animate drawing tools with it. If you scanned in a colour image, it is likely a raster (bitmap) file which can only be edited directly ion Photoshop.
You may however use imported raster images as reference drawings and rotoscope over them using a new drawing column and the automatic light table so you can see the raster image while editing the drawing (vector) image.
