I’m finding this pretty difficult because Toonboom doesn’t allow you to import M4a files.
So, what is the BEST way to get a song into my animation, preferably from iTunes?

Save your sound-files as AIF- or WAV-versions…
Then import those files into Animate…
In iTunes, right-click (control-click) the sound-file / from the contextual menu
choose “Create AIFF Version”…
