how to export png sequence in animate pro2 on a mac?

Go in the Write module and select PNG as the Drawing Type instead of TGA. Then do a File>Export>Render Network.
The opengl export is for preview purposes only… as saidf above you need to use the write module in the network view. Adjust the settings there (path, name, format) and the Export > Render Network
and if you want transparents png,you need select PNG4 option in Write module properties.because PNG4 have R,G,B,A four channel,A means is Alpha.
