Hi I have really idiotic question today, and I just can’t believe that i dont know how to do that.
I have a countour of some item (it’s square), draw in one continous line. Now i need a fragment of that line but i dont know how to cut it. I could use a cutter, but this is really uncomfortable to use. I’d rather put a stroke in place when i want to cut and same from other side. Is it a way to do it? I’d be glad for help.
Well, with the Cutter Tool, either use the Lasso or Marquee…
If you prefer to cut with the Brush- or Pencil-Tool, make sure Auto Flatten is activated…
Then draw your strokes (very thin I guess) wherever you would like to cut your line…
Or draw invisible lines with the Pencil-Tool, line-width set to 0…
Hit the K-key to see the lines…
For exactly straight lines use the Line Tool…
Use the Select Tool to separate those fragments…
Afterwards you might like and delete those “cutting-strokes”…
