How compatible are the PLE and the full version?

Hello, this software looks really great.

I would just like to know if I’ll be able to reuse stuff I created in the PLE version of ANIMATE once I’ll have purchased the full version.

This would be useful to know because Christmas won’t be until in 1 1/2 months. ;D

I realizing tell U,the stuff of PLE version can not use in commercial version.
I had attempt that at one time ;D

The Animate Personal Learning Edition (PLE) uses a special non-commercial file format, which means that projects made in the PLE cannot be opened in the full version of Animate.

Animate PLE is intended for learning purposes. -romi

What would be a great idea is for TB to transfer the PLE Animate files into the “regular” animate format only when a license is purchased, like a courtesy to those who put in “sweat equity” into Animate.

It may be a bit bandwidth intensive, but could be worth it in the long run for customer loyalty and overall "good vibes."

What would be the downside?

I would have to agree. A lot of programs let you use the use the PLE files once you but the full version. I hope they can change this in the future. :slight_smile:
