Hexadecimal colour code

Hi,

I think that it would be really handy if there was the possibility to enter colour values via a hexadecimal colour code (e.g. #ffffff) like Photoshop does.

Hi Stefman,

Good suggestion.
Is there a particular context in which you want to use Hexadecimal?

Thanks!

Hi Marie-Eve,

for me it turned out that copy pasting a colour code from one application to another is much quicker than exporting (rendering) and importing an image in order to pick an updated colour.

I would be great if Harmony could be integrated to that ping pong game.

This can be particularly handy during the creation and update process of model sheets of characters and props.

I also often fear that the colour of a rendered (exported) image might have slightly changed due to the compression. Transfering colour values via a colour code is for me kind of the bullit proof way.
The hexadecimal colour code has the advantage that all the data is condensed to one single snippet of code whereas you would have to copy paste 3 values separately when using the already implemented RGB colour code.

Hi Stefman,

This makes a lot of sense.

Thank you for the precisions.

I like this suggestion as well!
