Alright, I have had Toon Boom for a long while, but never had time when I was in college to learn it properly. I am a graduate now and need some advice. I do not have the thick book… Is this a must have!? I figured out the drawing view and the basics of camera view, but have no idea where to go from there to set up a scene or even further, putting scenes together. Is the guide a good place to start or are the e-learning tutorials easier to understand? Any help?

It all depends on how you prefer to learn. Reading the manual is always a good place to start. Even if you don’t have the printed manual you can access the digital version via the Help menu. JK’s sites are also very helpful (see the bottom of his post in this thread.) Check out all the freebies in the e-learning section.

If you’re like me and enjoy the visual learning experience, you should consider getting the TBS Training Video package. It’s well done and informative. Also, VTC offers a TBS training video for v.3.5.

WOW!! I am a visual learner and the videos training will be most helpful! I can’t believe I didn’t hear about this sooner!! Thanks a ton!!

You’re welcome!
