Please help, I can’t install my Harmony 14 on my Harmony premium on my Mac Os 10.12.2.
It worked. Thank You.
Me either. Is mac OS Sierra supported? (10.12)
I can ctrl click the app to open it. It then takes me to LicenseWizard am not sure i trust it! Could be malware? Please advise…
I also tried install on OsX 10.12.3 without success. Some Help?
Same here, I’ve just tried to install it and it says “Harmony Premium cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Harmony Premium works with this version of macOS. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and macOS.”
I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled it and it gives me the same message. I have Mac Os 10.12.2 right now.
You are being blocked by the new security “features” of OSX.
When you install something normally from an Admin user account
you will have one and only one chance the first time you launch it
to click a button to allow it to launch in the System Preferences-
Security & Privacy-General Tab. If you don’t do this, the software
will be quarantined.
To get back the “Anywhere” setting on this tab that existed Pre-
Sierra do the following:
Log onto the computer as an Admin-class user
Open a Terminal Window from /Applications/Utilities
Type: sudo spctl --master-disable
you will be prompted for your mac user’s password
type it and hit enter. You will not see yourself typing
the password in the terminal - this is normal.
If the software has already been quarantined, here is something that
may help…
- Delete the software folder by dragging it to the trash, empty the trash.
- Go to System Preferences- Security & Privacy-General Tab,
if it’s not set to allow applications downloaded from “Anywhere”
set it to that or keep this window open for the button to appear. - Run the .dmg installer again and install the software.
- Go back to step 2 before you launch the software as it will
start the License Wizard which is a separate application from Harmony
and requires its own permission to run. - If all else fails contact support@toonboom.com to fix the problem
on your system (i.e. take the software out of quarantine)
