Harmony Advanced vs Premium - Effects Nodes?

Hi! I’ve had a desktop subscription to Harmony Premium for about three years now and absolutely adore it, but my monthly budget is going to be drastically shrinking soon, so I’ve decided to go ahead and purchase a permanent license while I can still afford to do so. There’s such a massive price difference between Harmony Advanced and Premium though, and while I’m almost certain that Advanced will do everything I need - since I rarely use about 95% of the effects nodes in Harmony anyway - I just want to double check some things before purchasing. If anyone could help me out and answer these questions for me, that would be fantastic!

  1. Is there any limit at all to the amount of drawing layers/pegs you can have in Harmony Advanced?

  2. Are deformers and the node view only available in Harmony Premium?

  3. On the feature comparison page, it states that in Advanced the user will have access to 12 effects nodes. Does this mean I’ll have access to any of the nodes, but am limited to 12 at a time? Or does this mean I only have access to a certain 12?

To answer question 2 first: The node view is strictly limited to Harmony Premium. Deformers are still available, and you can find all our documentation on Deformers within Harmony 17 Advanced here: https://docs.toonboom.com/help/harmony-17/advanced/deformation/about-deformer-type.html

Finally, question 1: As far as I know, there is no limit to the number of layers/pegs in Harmony Advanced!
