When I import images, I tried a bmp and tiff, they import smaller than the canvas size, default canvas 1920x1080 and imported image is 1920x1080 72dpi. The image quality is poor. So I imported a larger file to scale down to the canvas size and when I go to select and scale the imported image there is a red circle icon with a slash in the middle saying “no”. When I opened the hawk exercise files the background image and hawk roughs were also sized incorrectly. Please help, I really want to practice a lot with this trial.

I figured it out, when I import the image I have to select import image to project resolution to have it import the same size of the canvas. If I want to resize I have to select the layer, then the black arrow tool and the square tool with the points on it ( the tool below the running person icon) and I can resize the imported image ( you have to be on the first frame when you do it or it will make key frames).
