Harmony 14 Lags

I had been using Harmony 14 without any major issues other than the occasional crash, but sometimes at start it ran very laggy, taking several seconds (up to 10) to do anything. either selecting a tool or moving the canvas around. This has become really frustrating because it is now impossible to finish any of the projects I had started.

Are there any issues to why it would cease to be functional?
As I said I ran some very heavy projects before, and now even an empty canvas is imposible.

any Ideas or suggestions?

its not much, but I have been successfully using it until a few weeks ago…

A recent Windows update damaged the OpenGL capabilities of Intel graphic cards.
You will first need to clean the registry using some sort of registry cleaning tool.
Then re-install the most recent graphic card driver (or an older one) for your card.
The stop/restart the system.

Next modify your Windows update policy to only allow security updates and
manually select which additional ones you want to allow Microsoft to apply
because otherwise they will keep re-applying the update and braking your
graphic card driver again.
