Harmony 10.3 crashes when importing sound

I’m currently using Harmony 10.3 on Windows 10. Previously I had windows 7, but upgraded about a year ago.
Before I was able to import sounds into files but now I am currently unable to import any sounds, wav, mp3, or mov, as they all cause Harmony to crash and hang.
I also noticed I cannot open files created previously either.
I have tried reinstalling quicktime, even older versions like 7.6, and restarted afterwards.
I’ve also reinstalled the tvversity mediaserver with no success.
I have a monthly subscription to harmony 15 for work and that one has no problem importing sounds/movies.
Are there any solutions or is Harmony 10.3 just not meant to work on windows 10?

Update : I’m not sure if this would be a permanent solution for me but I have taken the win32 folder in Toonboom Harmony 15 and copied it into the Toonboom Harmony 10.3 directory (I’ve made a back up of 10.3’s win32 incase) and now the issue seems to be solved. I can import sound and open files perfectly fine now.

Hey, I had the same problem with opening some files in 10.3, using windows 10.

It’s a temporary fix and it makes no sense to me, but here’s what I did.
I opened the file, went to task manager, and ended the “Media Server (32 bit)” task twice. It opened fine after that.
Don’t ask me how, but I hope that works for you as well.
