Going higher than 2K in TBS 6?

Back when I was using TBS 4, I was able to set my project properties to any width and height in terms of pixels. Since the animation is vector until you export, it didn’t hurt the file size or memory at all.

Now I’m on TBS 6, and I need to export some larger files. However, I’m blocked from entering a width higher than 2048 pixels.

Is this normal? Did Toonboom take away high res renders in the latest versions?

Hi there,

This is in fact the highest resolution you can go within Toon Boom Studio 6, 2048 x 2048. At one point, perhaps version 5, it was set to this max resolution because many projects created at higher resolution were having problems when it came time for rendering.

I hope this info helps,
