although sound is not really an issue for me i hope you’ll like it.
cheers,
rob

very well done  I enjoyed them alot. That’s about the only time you’ll find me sprinting as well :stuck_out_tongue:

Rob,
Thanks for sharing those cartoons. Your style is evolving into a unique signature which is quite recognizable. I certainly hope that you plan to continue this well done series. Best wishes -JK

thanks, guys

i’ll do my best, but any hint to reduce the amount of work i’d be deeply grateful.
the ‘lumberjack’ (from the first idea to the last rendering) was a 80-hour work. and the series has been conceived as a reduced animation work. somewhere along the way it got fatter than i intended to
cheers,
rob

Sorry Rob, I’m an empty well on that subject. Marty and I have been working on a personal project outside of our regular work that has been taking forever. The problem with not having a deadline I suppose. Best wishes -JK

jk,
this could be the issue, but i deliberately set deadlines for me myself and try to handle them as any other deadline. the festival entries are also a good method.
on the other side the real work is with each stroke you set on a tablet.
and this is also the best place to start with the time reduction.

anyway, this is a drawing preference and i suppose it’s strictly personal.
cheers,
rob

no, it’s pretty low level technique. mostly the pure frame by frame and pose to pose methods.

the only more sophisticated thing is the pegged bus in the ‘bus stop’ episode.
cheers,
rob

did you make this only with tbs

yes, it’s the only production software.
i might have edited some sound effect in audacity, but that’s all.
cheers,
rob
