fool question about sound editor

maybe it is too easy…

I am trying to get a frame number in the lower window of the sound editor…

a simply task: go to the frames 1300 to 1340 and reduce the volume there…it is not so simple…

in the sound editor I have a track of 5 minutes.
in the frames part for example the length of the scene is 2000 frames.
then I want to go tot the frame 1300 for example to set the range of volume…
in the top window I reach the frame 1300, and it sdisplays frame 1300.

but in the lower windows it is different…

…but in the lower window -that one which is measured in seconds-
how I reach the frame 1300?
or how I now in which frame I am, when I am moving in the lower window…

now i am dividing the seconds between the 24 fps to figure the frame number…
is there any easy way?

how I get the frame numbers in the lower window?

thanks a lot

There is no way to get the frame numbers in the lower window. I understand what you’re trying to do, but the reason that it wasn’t implemented this way is that the bottom half was originally intended to be for editing the sound before bringing it into the scene - so that’s why the only timeline information it can give you is the in frame and the out frame.
