When moving sound in the dark GUI of SB 5 (10999), the label showing how many frames you move the sound is completely white.
This is because the font color and the background color are the same. A little oopsie that will be fixed in a future update.
The workaround is starting in the light GUI, but if you want to fix it properly for the dark GUI, you need to make a simple adjustment to a file in the installation.
Near the bottom of the file “C:\Program Files (x86)\Toon Boom Animation\Toon Boom Storyboard Pro 5\resources\stylesheets\app_dark.qss” that can be opened and edited in Wordpad (or better, Notepad++) is this:
/* background of text color on sound column( when waveforms shown )/
/ not used in the dark style anymore */
qProperty-soundTextBgColor : rgb( 220, 220, 220 );
when the RGB values in this last line are changed thus:
qProperty-soundTextBgColor : rgb( 0, 0, 0 );
then it shows the text on the label as black.
