Fixing Pivot across Drawing Cells

How can I move the pivot on a drawing layer so that it is automatically at the same position on all other drawing substitution cells on that layer?

I know moving the pivot on a symbol layer applies the same pivot position for all substitution drawings with the ‘Set the pivot for symbol on all frames’ option selected. It just doesn’t seem to work on a drawing layer.

I will double-check this issue on my end here. Let me investigate this one and get back to you.

I have found one way of maintaining the cell pivot position for substitute drawings. Instead of drawing a substitute directly into a blank cell, I duplicated the first drawing. This retains the pivot position. I can then erase the duplicated drawing (a hand say) and draw another hand shape. My hand can now rotate from the same point while clenching/unclenching.

If you find a simple way of ensuring the pivot remains fixed across the timeline for all drawings - let me know.

Thanks for looking into this in advance.

I verified here on my end. This is a feature that is being implemented in Animate 2, soon to be released. I suggest that you keep your current workaround for the time being and stay tuned for Animate 2.
