Finished product quality

Hi Folks. Say, you had a G5 with 3 gigs of RAM and 2.0 ghz of processor. You slap together a project with decent animation, and you want to make a DVD production out of it. You send it into Final cut and have it compressed properly.

Would the DVD be up to mainstream standard?

Has anyone completed a project that had a big-budget look to it? Or, does toon boom studio have a cheap, pixelated look to it no matter how you compress it?

I am thinking of buying the studio, but I don’t know if I should go for solo.

The quality depends all on how you export the video but the dvds i have created look as good or even better quality as some of the cartoon dvds out today. If your interested in knowing how to make a good quality dvd just ask.

Cheers

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to know if the program itself is capable of that kind of quality, and I guess it is. I’ll experiment once I buy it, but I think Solo might be the best option for my project (the glue feature could be a time-saver).
