File Error when opening a Toon Boom stage-syntax error at line 1

I’ve just re-opened this animation file that I have been working on for the last few weeks now.

But just now, this error has come up and erased all of the work on the file. which is really odd because I was working on this earlier today.

Does anybody know how to resolve this?
