Failure to transfer SBP files to new computer

I own a very broken Cintiq companion and just bought a new Wacom MobileStudio tablet to replace it. I have an unfinished Storyboard Pro project on the old tablet, and tried to move the project folder, all versions, into Google Drive and import them into the new tablet. I returned the SBP license so I could open SBP on the new tablet too.

However when I opened the moved project file on the new tablet, all drawings had disappeared. The old project remains safe thank god. But is there any proper way to move SBP files to a new computer?

That sounds strange.
Have you looked into the projects folders and seen if there are any images there or if there is just a linking problem?

Could this help?

Hi

Make sure you zip your projects before importing them to a cloud service. You can also save the project as a Single File see https://docs.toonboom.com/help/storyboard-pro-6/storyboard/project/save-project-single-file.html?Highlight=zip

What can happen is during the upload process to break some of the SBP metadata that links the file and creates empty targets.

Thanks! When I saved it, it also saves a sbpz.lock file. Should that follow the Packed File in the transfer process?

That will do let me know if you have additional issues.
