Exporting segments to swf creates corrupted file

in Studio 7.1 I’m trying to export a segment of an animation to swf so I can import it into another file. I select,
format: flash
current scene (camera view)
frames: 887-959

It exports and then I get a file that has no data and is not register as a swf.

Any ideas?

or is there another way to import the frames into another studio file?

Your system may be running out of resources. Try splitting the project.
You can make part of the project into a template (library window) that you
can then transfer to a new or different project.
