Exporting PNGs with Transparent Background

Hi, everybody.

Recently I have been playing around with Toon Boom Animate 7… I’m pretty much new to it although I have been animating in Flash and Photoshop for a couple of years.

Anyway, I love the program a lot, except that I want to export some character animations with transparency as pngs and it doesn’t seem like I can; every time I export I get a black background, even if I specify that I want transparency in the export menu (http://i.imgur.com/XUNnR.png).

I figure that I must be making an extremely noobish mistake… But I just can’t figure it out. Any ideas, guys?

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

Regarding your Export Images Settings…
They are correct… this should create a transparent background…
(guess, there is no colour-card, or any background in your project ?)

Animate sees black as alpha channel… import one image back and the background
should be transparent…

Or open one of those images in Photoshop (or else)…
Or import those images into your video editor… the background should be transparent.

Regards
Nolan
