Export Vector to Photoshop

I’d like to find a way to export a vector image to Photoshop so I could do a detailed extreme zoom painted cel like you see in a John K cartoon or Sponge Bob. I know of a somewhat convuluted way to convert a drawing to a vector selection in Photoshop but was hoping to find a neater process.

I searched the forum but didn’t see anything.

Does anyone have an idea how to do this without having to own a pile of programs?

Hi TroyRex,
Interesting how these topics pop up at the same time… If you haven’t already seen there might be something in Photoshop under the General section for you?

Try exporting as PDF. You can then edit your drawings in Photoshop.

I also have another post opened in the Import section regarding importing psd format files - it will be interesting to see how layers are treated when you import .psd files (whether you have to flatten layers first?).

Hi,

Would it be possible to know exactly what you want out of the software? Is there any special task you need to do?

Let us know if we can be of any help to you.

Best regards,

Ugo
