Is it possible to export vector image files to After Effects? I have been exporting separate ToonBoom files to Photoshop. Can TB files be exported to Illustrator? If I could keep the files as vector they would be more flexible in After Effects.

I am not quite sure (I haven’t checked the latest versions of After Effect) but can’t you import swf formats inside After Effects now? If that is the case this should allow you to bring your vector artwork in vector format straight to After Effects without having to go through another software.
