As a new user of Toon Boom Harmony 12, I finally worked out how to vectorise a layered image imported from Photoshop.
I am delighted, and totally amazed with the high quality of the image after it was vectorized inside Harmony 12.
The vectorized image is actually better than the bitmap image - it is much sharper, without any loss of detail or colour.
I would like to show you the result. I imported a cut out character broken into 8 parts (8 layers) which I drew in Photoshop with a Wacom pen. - I am now learning how to animate it.
The first file is the bitmap PSD image, the second file is the image after being vectorized inside Harmony 12.
Truly amazing quality, thanks to Toon Boom technology.
