I am getting this error message when trying to import a photoshop file:
Error when writing image to
I would really appreciate some help with this. I am stuck and not able to proceed any further.
I’m getting the same in Animate 3 when I try and import textures to a swatch. I’ve tried both .psd and .tga files. Both file types were created using Photoshop CC on a Mac.
Anyone have insight?
What are the pixel dimensions of the image you are importing?

In the error message the path describes
Is your Windows user account called name?
If not, does your user name contain accented or other special characters?
If so, try creating a Windows user using only a-z, 0-9, “_” or “-” characters.
Avoid accented or special characters and spaces.
If your user account does not contain any of these special characters, try deleting the software’s preferences from
C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Toon Boom Animation
Open the software after doing this and try importing your image again.
Note that a vectorized bitmap drawing imports into a Drawing (vector) element but a non-vectorized bitmap imports into an image (raster) element.
