I’ve imported a JPG but I can’t figure out how to edit it. I’d like rig it into a cut-out character but none of the tools will operate on it. When I right click on the symbol in the library and select “edit symbol” and I select a tool (say cutter) and hover it over the image the pointer changes to a circle with a slash through it. Maybe I’m missing something in the concept of symbols vs. drawings?
try vectorising it on import. (in the settings somewhere)
Well, how about that! The JPEG’s gotta be vectorized to edit. Who woulda thunk? It looks the same to me vectorized or not…
