E1257 won't start program

I keep getting this when I try to start toon boom

Could not find the LicenseWizard
Your installation may be incomplete.
[E1257]

I just installed it on a new mac and I have no idea what I need to do?

I just got a new computer and tried to install my toon boom studio 8.1 but I get this same error code, E1257 with the message Could not find the LicenseWizard Your installation may be incomplete, and then the program closes before I can put in a serial number or anything.

I contacted tech support but I’m posting here as well since I don’t know what to do.

Do you even sell Toon Boom Studio anymore? I didn’t see it on your website?

Any help would be appreciated.

Partial answer: They no longer sell Studio.

Try uninstalling the program and rebooting
Re-install from an Administrator user account.
Reboot gain after doing so.
